Who are we?

Shōga Kensha is...

a small kennel located in Michigan dedicated to the preservation and protection of the Kai Ken. As such, we have selected an area in which we see fit to raise such a breed, the watershed. Here, we have access to plenty of activities such as hiking and boating. Our Kai are exposed to city life, country life, county fairs, parks, water, strange dogs, people, and cats.

We take great pride in each of our dogs, and enjoy every millisecond of their company. We belong to a training club as well and have been praised by the members for what we do for the Kai. The Kai Ken is extremely devoted to its master, and ours are no different.
